Frank Papa’s Ristorante was established April 27th, 1994.
It started with Frank’s inspiration from his Grandparents, Salvatore and Genevieve Papa, as a young child growing up in their St. Louis restaurant. Frank graduated from chef school from “Johnson and Wales University” in Rhode Island, and 17+ years of professional cooking experience. Couple with Diana’s years of management experience and lots of help from our family and friends, we finally got the chance to do this for ourselves.
We have two sons, Frank Salvatore born in 1992 & Anthony Douglas born in 1996. Both of our sons are graduates of Mizzou and can often be seen helping out in our dining room! We are proud to say we continue this family restaurant tradition with our nephew, former chef and current manger, Rob!
We love to boast that several of our 25 employees have been with us 1- years or more.
Our cuisine encompasses a wide variety of Italian flavors ranging from Northern to Southern Italy. Our goal is to give you traditional Italian with an American flare of creativity and style.
